When i went to the store with my mom a few weeks ago our car was hit. This is how it began. We went into the store and after we were done in the store we got back into the car to leave. But right before we left a car hit the side of my mom car. When the man got out the car he was elderly around his 80’s. My mom asked what had happen. He stated that he had fell asleep behind the wheel. He then had asked if we got hurt. So my mom did the same and we wait for the ambulance to come and check to see if he was alright. When we got home my mom had my grandpa fix the car. This is why i believe elderly people shouldn't drive.
So are you scared of driving? Do you know how your grandparents drive?
Old people shouldn't drive because most accidents are from old people.They could forget how to drive and that could cause a car accident. Something could happen to them.
To continue most car accidents are from the elderly. In the accidents they could hurt themselves. Also they could damage property. Say if the crash into a building the building could fall on the car hurting the elderly person.
In addition they could forget what to do and it could cause an accident. The elderly may forget which is the brake and gas. They could go blind and miss the red light or stop sign.
Another thing is that something bad can happen to them. They can have an heart attack. There was an accidents a week ago and she died because her car speed up and went over the side of the street.
